KSI, Logan Paul, and Mr. Beast: The three musketeers on the downward spiral

A new product released by KSI, Logan Paul, and Mr. Beast is now facing dire criticism. Their brand new snack, Lunchly, announced on the 16th of September 2024 on X has riled up many. It's promoted as a healthier alterantive to Lunchables but many disagree.

On the 16th of September, three renowned Youtube influencer unveiled their new product. Lunchly, a snack promoted as a healthier alternative to Lunchable. Despite the enthusiasm of the influencers, users of X don't share this sentiment. Many users out that they are targeting their child audience as a mean to obtain more income from their fans.

Another Youtuber, going by the name of DanTM, commented about the product's release a day later. He commented that Youtubers nowadays are selling products for profit's sake. To make matters worse, he knows that this product is targeting their child audience. After this tweet, none of the 3 Youtubers responded kindly to his tweet and each devolved into chaos. Here's how each of them responded while also losing the goodwill of their audience.

KSI is the one responded the worst of the three. After DanTDM posted his tweet, KSI kept on barraging him with tweets day in and day out. He also made a callout to when DanTDM promoted snacks and toys to his audience. Unfortunately for him, the majority of the users were not on his side. Everytime he tweeted, he would often get community noted as mean to correct him. One of the most infamous instances is during his callout tweet mentioned above. The community noted states that KSI promoted his own products while DanTDM did not. KSI did not take any of the criticisms in good faith and instead to lash out to the users replying that they hate him. Alas, his descent into madness continues with no hope of reaching a positive outcome.

Logan Paul's response is the most dystopian out of the three. After DanTDM's tweet, his intial response is similar to KSI's response. However at this point in time, his wife gave birth to his child, meaning that Logan Paul couldn't tweet as often. Many would congratulate him for the birth of his child for the blessing despite the mess he is in. Many more would also assume he attend to his wife and newborn child and refrain from the internet. Logan Paul on the other hand would instead prove a disappointing reality. After his child was born, Logan Paul would post images of his wife and child, while also promoting Lunchly. To the surprise of many, Logan Paul continues to astound the majority with his absurdity.

Mr. Beast's response baffles everyone for all the wrong reasons. Mr. Beast is addressing this controversy despite ignoring his previous controversy. His previous controversy was that he defended his friend, an outed child groomer. Although he has taken swift action, he has done nothing to address his audience of the situation. Many of the users on X complained that he should address the previous issue instead of the current one. As time continues moving forwards, Mr. Beast also continues to ignore the criticism.

The downward spiral of these three influencers continues to accelerate. KSI releasing a non-apology followed by a cringeworthy song. Logan Paul continues his endless promotion of his product, disregarding his child's future. Mr. Beast has yet to release any outstanding response to any of his controversies. Only time will tell if this is the hill they wish to die on.

The beloved game, Dragalia Lost, has become lost to time

Dragalia Lost, a gacha game developed by Cygames, had to end services on 29 November 2022. The game had to shut down due to many problems and controversies.

In the game's early days, Dragalia Lost was region locked to only 5 countries. 5 months later after its release, another 6 countries have made the game available. This meant that players who want to play the game had to use alternative methods to access the game. This in turn would make information about the game through word of mouth less available.

Nintendo, the publisher for the game, has done very little effort in advertising this new IP. One of which is during a crossover with Nintendo's own gacha game, Fire Emblem Heroes. The event started on 26 April 2019 and ended on 14 May 2019. It offered players a chance to get crossover characters and experience a new game mode. While Dragalia Lost has done plenty in this crossover event, the opposite isn't true. In Fire Emblem Heroes, it doesn't even have a crossover in its own game. Fire Emblem Heroes recognizes the crossover but does nothing.

The most major controversy the game had, was against Colopl. Nintendo sued Colopl because their game, Shironeko Project, used patents from their console. Because of this lawsuit, Colopl have no other options but to change the mechanics for their game. This in turn would upset players of Shironeko Project and cause them to view Dragalia Lost in a bad light.

The previous director for the game, Hiroki Matsuura was controversial for japanese players. He had made some negative remarks on the gacha game, Fate Grand Order. Fate Grand Order is one of if not the most played gacha games played by japanese players. In japan, many gacha players tend to be protective of their game. This caused many japanese players to not view the game in a good light, causing less players to not play the game.

For a gacha game, Dragalia Lost is quite generous. But many believed that the game might have been too generous. The game does not give any incentives for players who intend to spend their money on the game. Players who spend money on these games are the key for the games to last for long periods of time. Without these players, the game's lifespan would not last for a long time.

For players who miss the game or are feeling nostalgic, they could the game Silent Hope as it has a similar vibe. Silent hope is available for Silent Hope is available on PC and Nintendo Switch.
